Barkef Osigian
Senior Pastor | Executive Team
In the beginning there was Barkef… okay, so that’s not actually true, but he has been Coppell Bible’s Senior Pastor since he planted the church in August 1994. He holds both a Master’s and a Doctorate Degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. Barkef and his wife, Susie, both hail from Louisiana and have five children and 2 grandchildren. Barkef spends his time & energy in prayer, teaching and vision casting to create an infectious and God-honoring future for Coppell Bible.
Michael Hewett
Lead Associate Pastor | Executive Team
Michael grew up in a ministry home in Arkansas and Oklahoma. He later moved to Coppell with his wife, Allie, and they have been living there for the past 12 years. Michael enjoys spending time with Allie, his three daughters, and their two dogs. If you've read this far into the website, he would love for you to email him so you can share stories over coffee!
Nathan Lee

Executive Team
Nathan has lived in a variety of locales but declares Texas his home. He graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2006 with a Master of Christian Education and started his ministry journey as a Middle School Pastor. He lives in Flower Mound with his wife, Kim, two children and an emotionally needy dog.

Nicole has lived in a variety of locales but declares Texas her home. She is married to Brian and has 2 kids.
Jenny Lewis
Elementary Director
Jenny is originally from East Texas and has called Coppell her home since 2015. She has a background in Early Childhood Education. She and her husband, Rob, have two sons and a daughter. They enjoy spending time with family and friends and having fun outside with their black lab, Millie.
Margie Donohue
Early Childhood Director
Margie is a native Texan and is one of Coppell Bible’s original members. Margie manages all of our wonderful childcare employees and volunteers and ensures they do their best to shepherd and love our children and keep them safe. Margie is wife to Jim and proud mom to their two daughters.
Marla Shubert
Pastoral Administrative Assistant
Marla brings organization and order behind the scenes at Coppell Bible. With experience and expertise from her prior post as an executive assistant in the corporate world, Marla knows how to get things done efficiently and with excellence.
Trish Wall
Receptionist, Facilities Administrator & AP
Originally from Roswell, NM, Trish moved to Texas in 1984. She married Rick Wall in 1988 and after 14 years of prayer, they are grateful and blessed to have a daughter, Faith. Trish spent many years in corporate America in the real estate industry. After taking a break from working when Faith was born, she re-entered the workforce as an Assistant Director of the Christian preschool at their previous church. Her desire is to see others grow in intimacy with the Lord and experience His transformational love, faithfulness & provision.
Ben Hurlbert
Tech Director
Born and raised in Dallas, TX. Has over 10 years of experience in the tech and production world. Wears many hats at Coppell Bible, loving to serve and see the church thrive. Ben also serves with the student ministry and loves helping young people find purpose and making their faith their own.
Kailey Yañez
Creative Media Manager
Originally from North Carolina, Kailey then made her way to Texas several years ago. Has years of experience in social media, content creation, and the creative industry. Found her way to Coppell Bible after working with the SMU Women's Volleyball Program. She resides in Fort Worth with her husband Jake and her daughter Charlotte.

Travis resides in Flower Mound with his wife and 2 children.
Anthony Mustoe
Elder - Vice Chairman
Anthony trusted Jesus Christ at the age of 7. Anthony and his wife, Debra, have two children.
Wes Kilmer
Elder - Treasurer
Wes accepted Jesus when he was eight years old. He and his wife, Lucinda, have three children and six grandchildren.
Wayne Sanderford
Elder - Vice Treasurer
Wayne and his wife Nancy reside in Coppell and have been longtime members of Coppell Bible with both of their daughters growing up in the church. Now both of their daughters are grown and married.
Kent Burleson
Elder - Secretary
Kent was baptized as a teenager when he first believed. However, it wasn’t until his daughter was born that he realized he could not be a father without God’s help. On February 28, 1999 Kent trusted Christ as Lord of his life. Kent and his wife Sheryl have two children and live in Grapevine.

Powell resides in Coppell with his wife and 2 kids.
David Patterson
Elder - Secretary & Deacon of Safety
David is the Secretary of our Elder Board. He also is our Safety Deacon and his team are responsible for coordinating and supervising the “gatekeeper” role at Coppell Bible. This includes our First Responders and Medical Response Team. This team is responsible for establishing and maintaining CB’s Safety Policies Procedures and conducts safety training for our Volunteer Teams, other CB Ministry Teams and staff.

Kyle is a real estate developer in the DFW metroplex. He trusted Christ as his savior in 2013. Kyle and his wife, Sarah, have two children.

Chase and Stephanie Eskelsen
Deacon and Deaconess of Assimilation
Our Deacon and Deaconess of Assimilation and their team are responsible for assisting those new to Coppell Bible to get fully assimilated into the CB church family. They oversee and lead our Starting Point classes which provide more information about Coppell Bible, introduce the S.H.A.P.E. profile and how to engage at CB. This team is responsible for following-up with those who’ve participated in these classes.

Deacon & Deaconess of Benevolence
Our Benevolence Deacon, Deaconess and their team are responsible for accommodating benevolence requests and needs from within the Coppell Bible church family. When necessary, this team will address significant benevolence requests to the church body from outside the church. They are also responsible for improving CB’s Benevolence Policies.

Deaconess of Cross-Cultural Ministry
Our Cross-Cultural Deaconess and her team are responsible for introducing international men and women from our community into the ministries of Coppell Bible.

Our Facilities Deacon and his team are responsible for coordinating any maintenance or improvement requests related to the church building and property here at Coppell Bible.

The Missions Deacon and his team are charged with communicating, encouraging and supporting our members and missionaries to live with eternal perspective as we go and make disciples of all nations.
Rick Damuth
Deacon of Prayer
Rick and his team are focused on helping keep prayer at the center of Coppell Bible, including praying for and with the church body, shepherding the Cord of 3 Strands prayer groups, facilitating and communicating prayer requests, coordinating prayer events and services, and preparing prayer and scripture guides.
Marci Elkins
Deaconess of Women's Ministry
Marci believed in Jesus at age 10. Married to Steve for 42 years, they have 3 children and 9 grandchildren.
