Experience God For A Lifetime

Our heartbeat at CB KiDS is simple: we want every KiD to experience God for a lifetime. These resources are here to help you bring faith into the everyday moments at home—because parenting is better when we do it together.

At CB KiDS, our heart is for every child to experience God for a lifetime. We know that faith begins in the home, around the dinner table, at bedtime, or even in the carpool line, and you don’t have to do it alone. That’s why we’ve created this space just for you. Here you’ll find weekly family devotionals aligning with our Sunday lessons, a Spotify playlist to fill your home with truth, and other resources to encourage you along the way.

Parenting is better when we do it together, and at CB KiDS we’re with you—cheering you on as you raise KiDS who love and follow Jesus.

Faith at home starts now!

The Month of May

Big Truth:

The Great Commission for all believers.

Memory Verse Matthew 28:18-20:

“And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Week of May 3rd: Jesus Sends His Disciples

Discussion Questions:

  • Toddlers/Preschool: What does Jesus want us to tell everyone?
  • Early Elementary: Why is it important to tell others about Jesus?
  • Preteens: How does knowing Jesus is “always with you” (v.20) give you courage to share about his love with those around you?
  • Bonus Questions: What does it mean to be a disciple? Why does Jesus want disciples of all nations? Are you a disciple of Jesus? When we believe in Jesus, what do we do to become a disciple?

Prayer:

"Jesus, thank You for loving us and inviting us to be part of Your mission. Help our family to be bold and faithful in sharing the good news with others. Give us courage when we feel nervous and remind us that You are always with us. Show us who we can love, serve, and tell about You this week. In Your Name we pray, Amen."

Family Challenge of the Week:

As a family, choose one person in your life that you want to share Jesus’ love with this week. Practice talking about what you would say to share the gospel with them.

Example: “Did you know that Jesus loves you? He loves everyone! He loves us so much that He wants us to be with Him forever, so He died on the cross to forgive us of our sins. He wants us to follow Him and share His love with others!”

At the end of the week, talk together about what happened and how you saw God at work. Make a plan to follow up with that person and continue to encourage them to believe and be a disciple of Jesus.
